There is excellent intensity to the detailed

A deft touch of wood sets off scents of violets as well as essence of red berry fruit that merges into seductively textured

There is again excellent volume to the rich

Nicolas Rossignol, Volnay Ronceret Vintage:2019 Aging potentialAn herbal tea top note can be found on the ripe aromas of cassis, black cherry, cinnamon and violet. The caressing and enveloping medium bodied flavors also possess outstanding volume and focused power on the superbly long finish. This broad shouldered effort is presently tautly muscular and quite firm though Roncerets typically ages beautifully into classic examples of Volnay and I predict this will do the same if allowed sufficient time.
